Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone could give me a sense of the path from Amherst into the consulting industry?
Thanks for the help!

Amherst (and Williams) is well respected and recruited by the elite banking and consulting firms.
I am not in the business consulting world. However, by chance, I happened to come across this article in Forbes.
Amherst has probably among the most members of Forbes 400 on per capita basis. Penn, Harvard, and Yale have the most; however, their undergrad class size is several times Amherst’s. All three have grad schools, and Penn and Harvard have business schools. On a per capita basis, Amherst is similar or close to them. Although the numbers are small and one more or one less multibillionaire could skew results, it is remarkable that a strictly undergrad college is even on their list (Amherst and Claremont-McKenna are the only LACs on the list; however, the latter has Finance and Accounting majors). Look up: Forbes 2016/07/06. The 28 schools that mint the most billionaire alumni
7 of 8 Ivies among top 10; Brown not among top 28.
