<p>Am I really the only one here who answered #3? My friend who's a freshman at Amherst told me (after the fact) that most of the admitted apparently answered that question last year.</p>

<p>haha sure :)</p>

<p>i basically had this idea that grew out of my hobby of stargazing, so the essay was about the stars and the science aspect of it combined with the beauty of the natural world and celestial bodies. went on to talk about how art and science counterbalance each other and bring out the beauties in each that could not have been seen without the other. its funny i chose that one, because i'm not that great in the sciences! but i liked the idea so i just went with the flow.</p>
