I am a spring transfer applicant too!!! I have been going crazy with the waiting. I guess that the applicant pool is much smaller for spring that no one created a thread.
Yeah, the spring must have a fraction of the usually 500 fall applicants, but the low acceptance rate is probably in proportion.
I read in an article that from around 98 they admitted 10 last year for spring. Guess my chances are even slimmer as an international student.
Those stats are brutal. I didn’t have very high hopes anyway tbh.
Stats show around 100 applicants with a 10% acceptance for spring. I’m waiting. Hopefully a 3.4 is good enough? hah.

A 10% rate is actually an improvement when compared to the fall’s minuscule 5% acceptance rate. I was fortunate enough to be accepted into Cornell this year, so if I were to be admitted to Amherst, it would be a really difficult decision to make.
