I know I can't apply to both ED, but which do you think I have a better chance at because I need to decide which I will go ED.

Which one do you like better? They are very different schools. My son was torn between 2 very different schools and I think both were a “fit” and the same level school in terms of admission. Ultimately he has chosen to apply ED to the slightly larger school (both are small: 2000 and 3500) thinking it would have more to offer him outside of the classroom. We’ll see! In the end, you cannot go wrong with Amherst or Penn - just chose the one YOU love more.

amherst and penn are very different schools, and they are equally hard.
which one do you like more?

I think I like Amherst more, so I am going to apply there ED.

That is the weirdest comparison ever; while they’re of the same academic caliber, they are so different in size, setting, and concentrations.

oh i know its very random they have almost nothing in common but while size is an issue at amherst (i personally prefer something bigger) i feel this is not as significant as the fact that I can’t swim at UPenn since its D1 and i’m getting recruited for swimming at Amherst :)

hello, i see legacy at upenn! haha is that what’s making you reconsider ED to amherst?

haha its actually the other way around my getting recruited is making me second guess my ED to UPenn. I decided to go Amherst ED because the chances of me getting in are essentially 100% while at Upenn, even with legacy, they are only about 45% maybe 50% if I am lucky.
