thanx in advance for any comment

I'd say you have a good chance

I think your SAT scores might hurt you.

thanx for the replies.... do you think giving an interview would help? is it worth a 5 hour drive?

bump bump please

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuump

Hi, artin90,
are you applying EA or RD?

Case is self selective. I think u have a chance.

RD i know i should have done ED because i really want to go here.... but oh well

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuump

Artin,
Case seems to have had more many more apps than expected EA - so RD is not such a bad thing in this time around. If you have any additional information to send this spring (ec projects, competitions, etc.) I would encourage you to send an update letter. Stress that Case is your first choice. Make sure your GC knows this also.

Your midyear grades will be very important. Actually, your final grades, should you be wait-listed, could turn out to be important, too. Don't give up. You are not at shoe-in, but you certainly have a shot.

anyone else?

I think you have just a slight reach... I agree with liek that you SAT scores will definately hurt you. However I think that it leans more towards the shot side than reach. Why not try the ACTs? If you get into the 1350+ range, I think that if you do get about 1350, Case will be a good shot for you. I applied EA and had an interview and my interviewer told me that I am a decent candidate (that is with 31 ACTs and about the same GPA as you). However I will not be able to find out since I was required to withdraw it. Best of luck! Case is a wonderful school. You should definately think about visiting their campus. To me it was a pretty nice campus (but also I had a lot of negative impressions before I visited it- it was a very long drive, 8 hours!). Also, you can contact their admissions office and try to schedule an interview in your area (that is what I originally had to do, but I was able to convince my mom that I should be able to apply to Case and that I would be ready for an 8 hour drive).

well the next ACT test is in february isnt that too late?

buuuuuuuuuump

buuuuuuuuuuuuump

Case got a lot of apps, and hasn't completed processing the EA's. It would be worth a call to admissions to see if they would consider the February ACT.
