Does anybody know the URL for a good unsubsidized Stafford amortization table? Specifically, I want to assume that the maximum amount is taken each year, the points come off the top, and then all interest is rolled forward until after graduation. One would probably have to check the table for each of the four years and add them up, to see what your total indebtedness and monthly payments would be at the end of the four years, as the allowable principal goes up over the years, and the origination dates are staggered. I haven’t located a tool on the web to run these numbers. Thanks.
I don’t know about the web, but I’m using a couple of templates that I found on my Excel program. The student loan one allows you to input an “additional loan” amount in any particular month, although if the interest rates change I don’t think it would accommodate that.
