Amount of bandwidth permitted at your school

I go to penn state and the bandwidth allocated for each student is 2 gb per week. If a student violates that 3 times, he will only have dial up speeds in the dorm room. I used all my bandwidth in the first two months (videos, games, itunes...) and couldn't use the computer at in my room, which was very annoying.

So, how much bandwidth are you given at your school?

We're given a 500 mb "tank" that refills at a rate of 21mb/hr. If you go below the 500mb mark, you will be put on a constrained bandwidth queue until the tank is above 0 again. This is only for my room's connection. I'm not too sure how wireless works.

umm...i'm not aware that we have any limit. i've never gotten any sort of email warning or anything and i do alot of Limewire downloading, video downloading, i watch MLB.tv on my school connection...

Unlimited, just that p2p connections are all blocked and can't be opened.
