Are there any differences between AMR-I and AMR-II other than the names obviously? Does one dorm have more of a party atmosphere? Does one have better facilities?

Thanks

Information about the AMRs. In addition to what's listed on that page, AMR I is older than AMR II (1923 vs 1954). I don't live in either one, but I would think that the atmosphere in both of them is the same. Both are "traditional" dorms with community bathrooms. The layouts of the buildings are different, but in terms of the living experience, they should be comparable. When you register for housing, you don't get a choice between the two buildings - the AMRs are one option on your housing questionnaire

I think the AMR IIs are better.

AMR I has a weird layout, and is older. Go with AMR II, but not a big difference.
