Hello, I plan to self study for the SAT subject
test US history. I have the most recent Barron’s sat us history prep book and AMSCO. I found Barron’s to be way too detailed, and having too much information. So I was wondering if it is
possible to self study from AMSCO and receive a score in the high 700s or maybe even 800?
Bump
I gave up on Barrons.
Amsco is good. I also used The Insiders Complete Guide to APUSH by Larry Krieger.
Although I didn’t get a score in the high 700’s I improved from mid 550 practice test to a 710 on the actual test.
Ok thanks. Also what did you find the best way to study AMSCO?
Read through it 2X. 2nd time was just skimming.
how about crash course? I felt that amsco is too long.
