I go to a very competitive high school which ranks in the top 25 in America consistently. I would say my program is fairly demanding relative to the students in my school. I would definitely want to go to a more liberal college. I probably won't play baseball in college, and I am still undecided about which college to attend.

Considering: Boston College (MA), Boston University (MA), Binghamton (NY), NYU (NYU), George Washington University (DC)

My parents make than 100k a year.
I live in New York.
I am going to start senior year in September.
What colleges would I do well in in the New England area excluding SUNY/CUNY?

Our stats are practically identical GPA-wise and my ACT score and your SAT are about equal, I gotta say BC is getting ridiculous for us B students, it wants to be a “Duke” or “Northwestern” now. But I think you have a great chance for Boston U and Binghamton. GW and NYU are possibilities, but I’d say low reaches as opposed to matches. Also, another school you might want to consider in Boston is Northeastern, a little more difficult to get into than BU, but much easier than Boston College. And I’m not sure if you want to trek that far north but the U of Vermont up in Burlington is supposed to be not only a great school, but a really enjoyable 4 years as well.

NYU is a reach or LSP with that GPA. I have a similar GPA, although I am applying ED and with near perfect SAT II’s and a 32 ACT of which all three tests I am retaking.
