I have gained so much... I was rejected at Peddie, but other than that most of what has come has been happy.

So what have you guys gleaned from this process.

I have gained so much... I was rejected at Peddie, but other than that most of what has come has been happy.

So what have you guys gleaned from this process.

Well, can’t say much as I do not know the results…

But, I know I can say it def. was a learning opportunity. The experience will help in college, and for my future job. I feel more experienced than other kids at my school having worked super hard.

I feel like I’ve wasted 6 months of my life. I got rejected from Exeter and now I’m positive that there’s no way I’m getting into Andover. To me, it was a waste.

Principal, you were probably rejected from Peddie because they knew they wouldn’t yield you.

Exactly Tiger max.

i don’t think it was a waste.
i think this whole process has shown me this whole new world, that there are kids smarter than i am, and there are schools and schools of them…
it makes me want to work harder. ^^

It’s the opposite for me. I wanna quit school. Man, this sucks. ;af;ljeoijflkwsfno;ial

soccerocker 23:
i think the same, I wasted 6 months and got distracted from my current school

You still could get into andover soccer.

I doubt it, though. SERIOUSlY doubt it. I was even TRYING to improve on things during the school year right now, so I could benefit from it at boarding school, but now I’m probably gonna be stuck at the high school I’m zoned for.

Just remember: PREP SCHOOLS ARE NOT THE GATE KEEPERS TO A GOOD LIFE.

I know it’s tough, I myself dealt with a rejection from Andover, and a waitlist to Exeter (not as bad, but it certainly isn’t fun) this morning. Life will move on, and no one is to say that you would have been HAPPY at boarding school–heck, maybe you would have done what Olivia567 did last year and quit 2 months into it!

What’s meant to be will be, and the rest you have to take in stride and not let it stop you from reaching your ultimate goal.

I know it’s complete cheese, but I still think it’s true.

so Peddie never yield good candidate? At least , they can put them in the waitlisted? Weird…

serious preparation for college application

i dont know but im going with the waste of time.
i only applied to andover, and got rejected.
this has been a complete blow to the little self esteem i had left.
im now super nervous for college.
but i guess it has been an experience in the sense that i know tht im gonna have to step it up a notch if i dont wanna look at another rejection letter from a rly respected college.

it’s really a great experience. it’s very similar to applying for college and getting rejected/waitlisted only drives you to improve.
