Over the course of the last two months, I have seen my SAT score improve dramatically from 1720 to 2060. I know that a 2060 is not high enough, so I would like to know what kind of score I should be aiming for? I plan to get 2100+ anyway.

Math: 720
Critical Reading: 700
Grammar: 640

**I am trying to focus on my grammar score in the meantime.

All help is greatly appreciated.

I’d say a 2200 to have a good chance if you don’t have any hooks.

2100 and a decent gpa along with good essay and ecs might get you in

Also grammar is the easiest to improve so you’re not so far off

Cornell doesn’t look at the writing section fyi

1420/1600 certainly puts you in the running. I wouldn’t worry too much about the SAT at this point; focus on essays, etc.

how do you know for certain? isn’t it just hearsay?

I’ve read it and heard it in the admissions talks, it was my worse section and i got in with 740/800/690

Yeah theprimefactor is right, they don’t look at writing.
