I get average SAT scores (1800-1950); I am a little better with the sciences, but do you guys think your SAT score will have some correlation with your future MCAT score?

If there is any correlation, it will be very small. I wouldn’t worry about this as much as trying to learn everything in your classes and preparing for the MCAT (if you are even in a situation/time to start thinking about the MCAT).

I guess so. But I would think guys who gets 2100-2300’s would probably do well on the MCAT

Not necessarily. A 2100-2300 is far from promising a decent MCAT score.

They may be good at taking standardized tests, but it doesn’t mean things can’t change for either them or you. What are the reasons you think you did average on the SAT or why you think others did better than you? Is it the material or the test itself?

Keep in mind that it’s a different pool of applicants. Everybody takes the SAT.

The people who scored highest on the SAT take the MCAT. Not everybody does well on the MCAT.

Study harder for your SATs and do well. If you can’t study for your SATs, what makes you think you’ll be able to study for the MCATs, another standardized test that has many of the components of the SAT, and is harder?
