we all know that every school’s got a guaranteed A class (unless you choose not to show up for exams, finals and such)…even the IVYs do have such classes…
does bu have any?
is language (elementary chinese) one of the easy options, or does it have more workload compared to large lecture classes…
upperclassmen…think back to your freshman year when you didnt have much clue about what to expect from college courses…which class would you recommend to yourself?
i know these insider-knowledge is not readily apparent to outsiders but is fairly well established among the upperclassmen…
(e.g. im a college grad myself and i took some non-major science classes which had open-book exam options…some of these classes were known as the easy-A classes)

BU is actually a hard place to get A's in general. You won't find a class where the majority of the people in it get A's, because BU tries to avoid that. My class that was an easy A was Comp. Science 101, but that was because it was easy for ME. By no means was the class an easy A all around.

yea, i thought my ps 101 was an easy a but when i told my friends to take it they got b+'s. sorry, but unfortunately, every class at BU (from my experience anyway) is a work-for-your-A class.

One tip in general: Off semester science class are almost always easier (curves, grading, staff, etc) than the regular semester classes. I took CH101 (required for most of kids in bu last year on the 2nd semester with professor Wang. Did around 3 hours of homework per months and missed about half the lectures, still got 110 points above the average in 3 mid-terms. So it was an easy A for me.
I'm an engineer so some of my classes can be hard. But the best shot is EK131/132 with Jackson -- if you make him like you you'll get a very good (if not an A) grade.
