An ED Vigil Chatroom

<p>Hi guys! I applied early to Columbia and we’ve been talking about having a chatroom on Dec. 9 and 10 sort of as a support group as we wait for ED admissions decisions. I thought it would be cool and some others seem to agree that we should invite all the ivys. It’ll be interesting to see whose results come first and it’ll be nice to have big group of people who are all in the same boat! If anyone on this board is interested, I can post something next week with more information.</p>

<p>brown's come out at 5 pm on december 10th online, and i'm guessing that most CCers have internet access. so we'll probably find out before you. but i like your idea a lot.</p>

<p>Yeah, I'm in. Although if I do in fact get in, I'll probably be celebrating with friends who I know the real names of and who I actually know in real life. If I get rejected though, I'll be glad to have the support!</p>

<p>If we do get accepted on dec 10, is that permanent or could that be changed? I don't know if the people who get accepted would withdraw their apps to the other colleges or not :x</p>

<p>You're required to withdraw all other apps...If you screw up later in the year, and get your admission rescinded, then it sucks to be you.</p>

<p>awesome. most of my friends are either already accepted to their top school or they haven't even applied yet, so i need some support. especially from people i won't have to face later if i get rejected!!!</p>

<p>I lied. Actually I just found out today that about 5 of my friends applied ED to Ivies and just didn't tell anyone. Smart...
Everyone will know if I got in on the 11th, cuz I'll be telling everyone I know if I do, and not saying anything if I don't.</p>

<p>I know 5-6 girls who are all applying to UPenn early, and they're like the "friends forever" type. So I think it's going to be pretty funny if they all get in, since they're super geniuses.</p>
