So… we had a Mock Trial meet today. I’m really only familiar with my part. A lawyer dropped, which was going to force us to forfeit. I volunteered to take her notes and wing it. I knew I was going to do terribly, but to top it off… my interviewer was our judge, so I could feel him eying me when I did my pathetic cross. I emailed him as soon as I got home because my dignity was so low. Well, at least I have a fun story to tell!

Hopefully they already sent their report out :)

I was late to my interview by accident. I had just finished midterm week, and somehow I got the idea in my mind that it started at 6:30 instead of 6. She sounded like she understood, but it sucks knowing that my tardiness was probably one of the first things she wrote down... I'm rarely, if ever, late to anything. So yeah, don't stress out over your mishap. You're probably fine.

I guess that I got lucky on this one, because during the interview I suddenly exclaimed, "Yay!" in a chipper voice and threw my hands up in enthusiasm. Before I could regret doing that, my interviewer also went, "Yay!" and echoed my enthusiasm (which was probably mixed with nerves). It was amusing because he was an old, retired guy.

Don't worry, he wasn't scrutinizing your every move to find a flaw. Come one, CCers, share your funnies.

people can be unnecessarily apprehensive about the application process

wolfmanjack, show a little compassion! I've typed some pretty paranoid stuff myself. I don't think that the OP is worrying too much about this.

go mock trial!

interview reports should be sent out by now and I'm sure he won't call them up to add that you were a bad attorney ;)

entangled0120, your story made me laugh a lot

My brown interview started off strange. It was at starbucks at 1pm, so I got there at like 12:45, had my coffee and sat down where i could see all the entrances after I looked around for anyone that looked like they might be my interviewer. Well, about 30 minutes goes by and I picked up the phone and called him and the gy sitting like two tables over glanced at me and his phone started buzzing. Needless to say I wasted about 20 minutes of interview time because of it but oh well.

i understand there is a certain level of paranoia that is to be expected from applicants, i'm just saying that it's mostly unnecessary

the interviewer must have been impressed.
