An essay can't be too *short* either, right?

I'm stunned, one of my essays is only 350 words because after my super super long first essay which I spent weeks cutting down, I wrote super concisely on my 2nd...

I know "if you got your point across, it's long enough, etc." but really now...if the max is 500, 350 is a bit short no??

mine is 350, my guidance counselor and a friend of mine at Princeton both said it was brilliant. I think quality is more important than quantity (whether it's too much or too little)

One of my friends got into a bunch of good schools and wrote on the lower end of 400 words. Like zephyravatar said, it's quality that counts.

I've heard that for a 500 word limit, around 425-500 is what's generally considered the right amount. But if you got your point across and wrote a brilliant essay in 350 words, more power to you! I'm sure adcomms will appreciate it!

thanks :) idk if mine was that brilliant, just concise >_< haha

Mine is 366 and I'm really happy with it.
