@ucbalumnus He is going to take HL math for IB DP, which includes number and algebra, functions, geometry and trigonometry, statistics and probability and calculus. In light of the level of difficulties or advance, according to his school counselor, they will reach up to a first/second-year undergraduate level before his high-school graduation. I believe he will be interested much in the math courses you mentioned, but his plan for math major is still quite vague. He just loves math and wants to major it.
