An International Undergraduate's Application is Withdrawn - URGENT

Hello

I have submitted my Undergraduate Application to Rutgers, after a while they gave me the RU-ID, today when I checked my application status it says that it has been withdrawn, because i didn’t submit my SAT or ACT Scores, The issue is that we in Saudi Arabia don’t take these tests, and is it a must for every international student??

please I need help and please tell me what to do, thanks in advance

Contact the school. It is your responsibility to read the requirements and submit all required materials, and if for whatever reason you are unable to, to see if they will accept something in their place. Are you applying for next fall (it seems too early for application submissions to be complete and to get an ID) or where you expecting to attend shortly?

International applicants may email RUInternational@admissions.rutgers.edu

I would call Rutgers as soon as possible and explain your situation. They may be understanding about your situation based on the circumstances. If not, ask if there is another test that you should take to make up for your lack of SAT and/or ACT scores.

Here is the Rutgers Admissions website that says the tests international students should take, and whether the SAT and ACT are required for international applicants: http://admissions.rutgers.edu/applynow/moreforinternationalapplicants/RequiredTestScores.aspx

Good luck!

@jym626 i am applying for spring 2016
@LionKing2398 i have visited the link and it does say that international students are not required to submit ACT or SAT Scores in a certain situation but i didn’t fully understand it

The SAT is offered in Saudi Arabia. You’ll need to take it to apply to most, if not all, US universities. I recommend taking it in October. https://sat.collegeboard.org/register/test-center-code-search

The ACT is also offered in Saudi Arabia, although only at one testing location. http://www.actstudent.org/regist/outside/ If this is close to you, you could take this instead of the SAT.

There are PLENTY of test centers in Saudi Arabia. The College Board even offers female-only and male-only test sites.

@GMTplus7 I meant its not required and i can’t take it because i will be in the US by the 29th of sep

i sent them an email, will wait and see

So what happened?
