<p>So I posted this a few weeks ago when I only had four schools. I know have changed my school list.</p>
<p>The hard thing about me is that I live in South Florida but am not yet a citizen/permanent resident. I am on the waiting line for my green card, which will arive sometime in 2012.</p>
<p>And because my parents make less than 20,000 a year, I need massive financial aid. If I were a citizen, I'd get a full ride. But I am not, so I qualify as "domestic international." Anyway, most of these schools do offer fin. aid for internationals, but they warn that it is "extremely competitive."</p>
<p>Anyway, here's where I am applying in order of choice. I applied to financial aid to all. </p>
<p>1) Wharton @ UPenn
2) MIT
3) Princeton
4) UChicago
5) Colgate
6) Drexel
7) American
8) Manhatanville</p>
<p>Here it goes guys!</p>

When I first began high school, I was going to drop out (my family was always encouraging and supportive but my entire environment aka ghettoness said otherwise.) So in my transcript, my first semester of freshman year has the grades of a dropout. Wrote my Autobiographical essay on how I got to believe in myself and did a 180 turn. From sophomore year to senior year, I've taken at least 10 classes a year (at school, plus online, plus over the summer). Went from ranking in the bottom 50% to ranking in the top 5%
(Shows determination, drive, etc.)</p></li>
</ul>
<p>P.S- I am taking the Physics and Math 2 subject tests this January.</p>
