An Intriguing Q

Anyone ever thought of searching for celebrities by using thefacebook.com?
How do you know which one's the real or not?

Weezer vocalist Rivers Cuomo is a Harvard student and is on Facebook.com. But he has rigged it so that only other Harvard students can find him or access his page. He has over a thousand Facebook "friends" - all from Harvard.

In general most celebrities are not in college, so they won't be in Facebook either. And the few that are will likely try to remain private by staying out of Facebook, or like Rivers Cuomo, limiting their visibility.

There are boatloads of fake celeb accounts on thefacebook. They are almost all fake. Some althetes like JJ Redick and Justin Zwick are on the facebook, you can somewhat tell if they are real or not by looking at the school e-mail address and see if its their initals or name. Then it is usually real. My personal favorite is when people put their dogs on the facebook, they write some pretty creative, funny stuff.

napolean dynamite's my friend on facebook...

I got 39 different Napoleon Dynamite's as friends. LOL Just do a global search and type in Napoleon Dynamite, and go in and add each one as a friend, most will confirm. It looks cool having friends at schools that noone has ever heard of.

It's kind of sad that one of the things I'm most looking forward to about college is Facebook. Sigh.

It is kind of sad that one of the things I complain about daily is how I won't get my email until orientation week in late August, right before school starts up. All because of facebook and that darn registration email.
