An unsual transfer: Please reply :)

Hi,

I am new to college-transfer procedure so I would really appreciate if you post responses on this thread. Is it possible to switch from college of arts and sciences to a business school in the same institution, without wasting an extra year or semester? For instance, considering UPenn, a transfer from College of Arts and Sciences to Wharton. Is there a credits-transfer system that applies to both the schools so that undergrad studies are completed within the same 4yr (or less)period?

If you’re transferring into Penn CAS from another school, you can’t transfer into Wharton. If you’re in Penn CAS already as a freshman, it’s technically possible, but requires you to have a perfect gpa and solid econ and math courses under your belt. Don’t think of CAS as a back door to Wharton; it’ not, and it’s genuinely dishonest to try and do this. You should only go through with this if you’re already enrolled at CAS and sincerely want to go to Wharton, and even then only if you’re gpa is perfect and you’ve done a lot of econ and math courses.

Its is 3.8+ for internal transfer

Thanks tsakashvili. I am not being dishonest. I made a mistake on my application so i was just tryng to find a way out.
