An urgent (and probably very stupid) question

Okay so I just finished submitting everything for Early Decision (counsler stuff, supplement, common app, and teacher reccs). I have been doing my application mostly off of the Common App with little reference to the Duke website. However I cam across this today:

"Early Decision candidates must print out and sign the required agreement form and obtain signatures of a parent and guidance counselor. Please mail the signed form to the following address: Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Duke University, 2138 Campus Drive, Box 90588, Durham, NC 27708-0588. "

I have already submitted the online ED agreement signed by counsler, myself, and my mother. Does this mean they won't accept that and that I have to do it again on paper and mail it?

No, online is fine. You dont need to submit a paper version too.

Do you know why they say “must print out and sign” then? I’m guessing that means they prefer it?

I think its just saying you have to have one if you apply ED. Its the same form as online. They probably just forgot to mention you can do it online. If your really that worried about it then just go ahead and send them both in.
