So on the Official May SAT 2015 thread, I compared my answers (especially CR) with the ones that other people chose, and it’s really weird. I got basically the same answers as everyone else, except for missing maybe one vocab question and a fairly controversial passage based one. But the problem is, I’ve never once broken 700 on a Blue Book practice test. I then looked at the March SAT thread and saw that, although many people had gotten fantastic CR scores, many were shocked at their results. So, just how accurate are the answers that we post before scores officially come out, particularly those that pertain to CR?
Not sure really; honestly I don’t think I really bothered to remember any answers when I took the SAT. But since we’re easily prone to error, I would say that there is plenty of room for error or remembering incorrectly.
These threads aren’t really “official” in that sense of the word; it’s more to prevent multiple threads devoted to the same exam popping up.
I don’t know, maybe you did really well on this test? Or maybe by coincidence, you and a bunch of other CCers had similar answers? I wouldn’t conclude too much. And how is this “urgent?”
Urgent because I’m freaking out
Nothing you can do about the May test though. If you think you did well, you can relax. If you think you didn’t nearly achieve the score you wanted, you can register for the June test.
I’d say they aren’t accurate at all. I got 1 wrong in the writing section because of a really stupid mistake, and I was led to believe that I had gotten 7 wrong. I got 2 wrong in CR and I thought I got 5 wrong. Take everything you see in those threads with a considerable grain of salt. Better yet, if you have to retake, don’t look at it at all.
It turned out that math was fairly accurate, thought I missed 2 but actually missed 3.
Writing was also accurate; only missed 1.
CR is always a gamble; thought I missed 1-2 but ended up missing 8.
Pretty accurate for me. I predicted a score that was only a bit lower than my actual (due to the essay score being higher).
