an urgent question - if you've taken SAT before, please help!!!

Please tell me how the proctors work during the test? do they tell you to stop after each session? and start the new section? do they give you a warning 3 min. before the ending time, or something? Do they give you snack time? I'm so nervous thinking about all these things. please share some experience. thanks a million!

You have snack times during breaks. I think you get 2 5 mins and 1 1minute break.

Depending on the proctor, he/she may tell you the remaining time. Most do but some don’t.
However, when time is up, all proctors will tell you to stop and move on.

thanks connor! anyone else? how did the proctor work at your site? I certain hope i’ll get a nice person.

please tell me what happened when you took SAT last time. it helps me to calm down here, come on… thanks thanks thanks …

Based on my experience, the proctor doesn’t always tell you when there’s a few minutes left. I took the SAT a few times and the room would always have a working clock, and the proctor would write down the starting time on the board every time we would start a section.

All you have to do is figure out when the ending time is (by adding 20 minutes or 25 minutes to the starting time based on the next section) and anticipate it. If you can’t see very well, bring your glasses. Bring your own wrist watch if you want to be safe, but it is not really necessary.
