Hello everyone
I will be a senior student in the coming fall and decide to go to graduate school.
My major is EE. I found analog/RF IC design very interesting and decide to star a career in this field.
Here is my problem. Although I'm a interested in this field I'm only a beginner in this field, I mean I just take the courses but do not have research experience. I was told that undergraduate student need strong research experience to go to top engineer schools in this field. Although my GPA is decent I think I do not have enough practice experience. So I think that maybe I'm not competitive enough to apply top graduate program.
Anyone who can recommend some good analog/RF IC design graduate program for me?
Thx.

BTW, if anyone have any advice for me, please let me know. Thx a lot

you dont need research experience in analog/RF. Any research experience will be a huge boost.

fatpig554,you mean that I don’t need research experience in this field to go to top graduate schools? Right?
Do you have any advice of which graduate school to go?

What I’m saying is, as an undergraduate, the specific area you have research experience in is not THAT important. Any research experience is good.

Which graduate school to go? Just look at the US news ranking for best engineering schools. Its the thread at the very top of the engineering forum here. There is no simple answer to that q. Good luck!
