<p>What are you guys submitting your analytical essays about? Are any of you using a topic of your own?</p>
<p>I am a parent of two kids who were both admitted to Hampshire. In both cases, they submitted a graded paper that was written for a high school class. Our son submitted a history paper on the U.S. reaction to the Barbary Coast pirates. Our daughter submitted an English paper, comparing and contrasting some poems.</p>
<p>My D submitted a 3-page graded paper from her English class. Since she hasn’t heard from admissions yet, I couldn’t tell you whether or not that was a good choice ;)</p>
<p>I submitted a 5 page paper I did for 11th grade english on chronic traumatic encephalopathy in the NFL.</p>
