Analytical Writing Placement Exam (AWPE)

I got an e-mail saying I have to take the AWPE.

One of the requirements to not take the AWPE is a score of 30 or greater on the ACT Combined English/Writing test.

I did get a 30 on my combined score, but I didn't send in that test score when I did my apps (because I got a better overall score on a different ACT test).

So can I send my ACT test score that I got a 30 in, so that I can get out of the AWPE?
Or will they not accept it?

They should be able to accept it. But I think you should call them to make sure. o.o

I sent my AP Scores after I received that email and now it says that I have completed the Writing Placement Exam on MyUCR.

if i passed my AP English language exam, i dont have to take it right?

and how do you send ap test scores?

Here’s the info I used off the College Board website to send AP Scores:

AP Automated Grade Reporting Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the following numbers:

* 888-308-0013 (toll free in the United States, U.S. territories, and Canada)

 • 609-771-7366 (outside of the United States, U.S. territories, and Canada)

Both automated services are payable by credit card only. You can also use these services to send your grades to colleges from prior years, up to four years from the date of the previous AP Exam.

You will need the following information before calling:

* AP number. Your AP number can be found in your AP Student Pack or grade report. Important: We encourage you to save your AP number and AP Student Pack in the event that you wish to access AP Automated Grade Reporting Services.

 • Social security number, if you provided this on your answer sheet
 • Date of birth
 • Exam year that corresponds with your AP number
 • The appropriate four-digit college code(s), if you’re requesting to send grades to colleges. College codes can be found in your AP Student Pack or online by searching for the college at the College Board’s Colleges and Scholarships search page.
 • A valid credit card number (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa)

UCR School Code 004839

Cost me $25…lame

ha or you can wait till bear fact and take a copy That what i am doing but with my World and US history test not sure about english

What is the bear fact orientation? and how do i get a copy of my ap scores?
any answers are appreciated

if ur taking AP exams in a few weeks, you can fill out on the main sheet with your name and stuff that u want ur scores (ALL of them) sent to ur school.

AP scores are not due until like July i think anyways. it should say on the UCR site like a checklist of things, and it will say the due date for tscripts/AP/immunizations and stuff.

you dont need to bring proof of ur AP score with u or anything at orientation, you just need to have them sent to the school.

what if the test was taken last year. i passed the ap english test but i dont want to spend 25$ to send the scores.

if u take AP exams this year as well, and fill out the form, they will send ALLLLL of your AP scores^^

nice that makes everything so simple! thanks
