<p>I just got an email from the University of California saying I have to go to a nearby high school and take this test on May 14th. Im taking the AP English Lit test on May 5th and am pretty sure ill pass with at least a 3. Does anyone know if I still have to take this exam anyways, it costs $65, and im reluctant to pay if i dont REALLY need it. Any info about it helps, thanks…</p>

University records show that you have not already satisfied the Entry Level Writing Requirement with a score of 680 or better on the College Board SAT II Writing Test or a score of 3, 4, or 5 on either Advanced Placement (AP) English Examination. If you have received a letter of admission from the University of California and are planning to attend, you must take the Universitywide Analytical Writing Placement Examination.
