<p>Wow excellent chances! I don't see any negative bits on your application. Raise the test scores, but don't stress too much. Try taking the ACT? A 2050 isn't going to kill you at all but if you have the time and will, then by all means go ahead.
Extracurriculars are quite good. I'd say you have high chances, but you never know. College admissions is really a crapshoot. I know you're looking for definite chances but all anyone can tell you is that you're going to get into a lot of great schools. Good luck!</p>
<p>Another great candidate, sigh, but what about you stands out? Anyone can get a job at a nameless company, how have you helped people other than tutoring, or helped yourself- I am just saying, tons of applicants have your kind of credentials. Its the truth, sorry to be blunt.</p>

<p>I guess I have a hard time judging because I don't know about the content, but there are so many people with similar kinds of EC's, do you see where I'm coming from?</p>

i'm a mexican female starting 11th grade next week..
2050 on the sat (750 R, 650 W, 650 M) *english is my second language
4.0 gpa (i think! 95 on the 100 pt scale)
i took ap comp govt last year and scored a 5, this year i'm taking ap psychology, ap english language, and ap spanish. i plan on taking ap spanish lit, ap economics, ap world hist, ap calculus, and ap english lit my senior year. basically, i'm taking all of the aps i can fit into my schedule. currently, all of my classes are honors/pre-ap/ap except for spanish.
my ecs include:
MUN- simulations in san antonio, dallas, others here in monterrey
chaired middle school security council last year
now part of my school's simulation's secretariat (we get around 800 delegates from around mexico, the us, canada, ecuador, panama, france)- part of logistics team as 'sargeant at arms'
Community Service-
part of school's community service staff... in charge of coordinating all projects and keeping track of other student's hours and participation... possibly vice president or treasurer next year
have taught english to underprivileged elementary school kids on sat mornings for past two years
participated in papilla- program to battle malnutrition in really poor communities
NHS
Drama- small role in school's musical.. helped out backstage as assistant stage manager in drama festival- coordinating set changes, lighting, etc
Selider- equivalent of HOBY in mexico.. participant in summer '05, now organizer
helped out in World Youth Summit- Nuevo Leon (Aug. 2006)
