I think this is the worst part of the whole application process. Waiting for that decision. I hate this feeling that I'm probably going to have for the next month or so until December. Good luck to everyone!!

Lucky you, I’m still procrastinating away. Nov 1 ftw

(go Penn!)

Lol I feel the same way. I’m already going crazy and we’re not even at the deadline for submitting the early apps yet.

And just imagine, the wait for RD is twice as long…

lol i know!! I was crazy last night, reading every ounce of info on the school’s early action policy and acceptance rate. When do ur decisions come out?

12/15 at 3 PM. 45 days of torture.

^
Any specific school your talking about?

Just forget it. Nothing you can do will affect the outcome, just let it go.

You’ll most likely be deferred anyway.

ED sucks. I applied on October 1st and I’ve been freaking out for answers already! I mean the option for ED just ended yesterday and this whole “wait” thing is just not working! I mean just tell me now! haha Well where is everyone applying? I did ED for Cal Poly SLO.

^
I met a few deadlines for ED ( well early response) and others I wasn’t able to meet due to committing if accepted or either overwhelm with current apps ( such as GWU, NYU, BU etc…) so I still have a good number of other universities I need to get my application out to.

Completed ER apps I was able to do were:
University of Michigan University of Minnesota University of Illinois ( unless something went wrong)
ER where I’ve been accepted so far:
University of Arizona University of Iowa

As already stated above there are other universities I plan to apply to but was unable to meet priority date.

My school’s decision comes out the 25th, soooo that’s going to be either the most amazing xmas or the suckiest one in my 18 years of existence.

Must suck for the people that are processing decisions on Christmas too

i thought tonight at midnight was the ED deadline

Does anyone know how UMich’s decisions are released? Via email? Online? Snail mail?

My fate will be determined on December 11th, 2009 at 5:00 PM CST.

The wait is a pain.

^^ I find out via snail mail. My fate comes anyday before December. UGH, how true is that large envelope (accepted), small envelope (rejected) thing since almost everything’s done online now.

I wish I was in the waiting mode!

1000 more applications to go.

Carleton’s ED is November 15. I will only have a month to wait after i apply

Pretty much absolute. If the school waitlists there may be some give there.

My sister’s waitlist envelope was rejection-sized, but she knew it wasn’t a rejection because it was slightly heavier and they could feel something else in it.

I just know I’m going to freak the fudge out if I get an acceptance tube from a certain school. That will not happen, but, y’know, it’d be awesome.

At least those of us who are doing a mix of EA and RD will have to concentrate on our RD apps until we get decisions. It’ll go quickly.

My sister got in (and like every single one of her friends) so I should know. I’ll ask my friend when she gets in. I don’t way when to be pompous or anything, it’d just be ridiculous for her to not get in. All of her friends who submitted earlier got snail mail saying they were accepted.
