and the Irish (20) beat Michigan (3)... AGAIN!!!!

AMAZING GAME!!!! I love watching me some Irish football! Weis is really taking this program to where it was in the early years, but we have some big games comming up and better get ready for them...

GO IRISH!!!!! (2-0)

they are undoubtedly going to gain popularity with the way they are playing..does anyone think this will have an effect on the number or quality of the applicants this year?

i LOVE Notre Dame. It has the best alumni connections and spirit. I'd venture to say that ND is the most spirited school; of course I can only base this on the midnight pep rally I attended on a gamenight last year :-)

Go Fighting Irish!!

Yes, the success will most likely cause a spike in applications. I applied after Ty Willingham's first (and only good) year and I believe that applications spiked 15%. I am sorry to tell all of you that, but yes, applications will probably be up.

BTW, it is now the #10 Fighting Irish, according to the AP Poll which came out today.

haha, thanks Irish! If I could still go back and change my post, I'd be sure to change that.. but I cant and Iposted the thread right after the game in my excitment. Ohwell, I'll put #10 up there when the Irish ROMP the spartans at home this saturday!

go irish !
one of my friends at notre dame im'ed me after that game, telling me that everyone was going to party, but as good students, were finishing their work first. lol.

lol, I don't know, I passed on the studying and just celebrated for a while (then again, I had done a lot of studying on Friday because I anticipated such an event). At Notre Dame there is plenty of hard work, and there has to be, but plenty of play hard as well! I don't play as hard as some (I personally don't drink) but I still am not ostracized for that and have fun with all the rest. It is a good place to be.

irish--what year are you in again? And what dorm... I know a lot of people there right now :-)

I am a junior who lives in O'Neill Hall right now but I am about to move to Fisher (long story). If you know anyone in O'Neill feel free to PM me, or if you know any psych majors as I probably will know them.
