You'd think the anxiety would die down, but now I think I'm more nervous than before! For some odd, dorky reason, I can't wait to receive my OASIS login. I got a letter in the mail that said it would be coming to me this week.

Where are all of the other Class of '13 Hopefuls? EA or RD applicants.

Thanks for the well-wishes. And yeah, it is pretty nerve-wracking!

Vskills: My app was a mess, haha. First I went from Rose Hill, then asked them to change it to Lincoln Center, only to go back to Rose Hill. I just hope the adcoms aren't too annoyed; I couldn't make up my mind.

bloomsm: I applied with the YC app too about a week ago. Did you do EA or RD?

Okay now, relax and just chill. Take a reasonable amount of time to wind down and focus on your high school studies. Then get cracking on your OTHER applications for RD to other schools. In this day and age, nothing is a given. And sometimes things happen for a reason, or opportunities open up elsewhere with scholarships or financial aid.

You have to put this in perspective. Its nerve racking knowing your fate is in someone else's hands, but you are among MILLIONS of kids going through this every year. Its a right of passage. You will get through it, you will get into college and you will deal with all the ups and downs along the way.

I hope you all get in and that it truly is the school with the best "Fit" for you. Because that is the most important thing to consider: not prestige, but "fit."

Fordham is an awesome school and offers some wonderful opportunities at Lincoln Center and at Rose Hill-Bronx. I wish you all the best.

My D is a sophomore at Rose Hill-Bronx. She LOVES it and is thriving. But its lots of work. Its NOT a party school. Fordham was a "match" (not quite a safety) school for her and it turned out precisely as people often say, "your match school is often your best bet!" (Her scores were in the upper range for Fordham, but she is very happy and sufficiently challenged at Fordham. She knows many kids with VERY high stats at Fordham).

I applied early action to the Lincoln Center campus, to major in International Affairs. It's not my #1 choice, but it's definitely one of my top choices.

I applied Early Action to Rose Hill. Its my third choice school. (#1 being NYU, #2 Macaulay Honors @ Hunter) It is the most probable of my schools though.... im nervous =)

I applied EA for Rose Hill! I'm not exactly sure where Fordham ranks on my list (I have one top choice school and then the rest are others I would happily attend), but I'm so nervous. I applied with the YC app, too, and recently received my confirmation in the mail. Hopefully, we'll all be happy come mid-December!

I think I'm finally semi-relaxed. I've submitted my apps to a few other schools and am focusing on my senior year. I still think about that Dec. 15th date daily, but I finally feel like I'm in a "chill" period.

To what other schools are you all applying?
