Any chance for money now?

Congrats! Wow, we have IDENTICAL SAT scores. I hope we both make semi-finalist come December for President's Scholarship!

I was just at Gatech this weekend and ABSOLUTELY loved it. Its harder to convince the parents though. Money would help...
And its really weird that we have the same SAT scores, plus you are from Anderson, South Carolina and my last name is Anderson....even weirder (Ok so im a nerd)

Good luck!

do you guys happen to know how many semi-finalists that tech chooses?

last year it was 440 I think

thanks.......but ouch, that sucks....there goes my chance at least of becoming a semi-finalist.....lol, still, good luck to everyone!

I think you definitely have a shot at some financial aid with the new scores. Tech isn't known for being particularly generous though.

fullcollapse - you are a female. You have already increased your chances for admission!

For Fin Aid, don't count on it to be the same for 4 years. In fact count on it going down over time.
