<p>I agree! I’m in 6th grade, too. I have thought about going to boarding school since 3rd/4th grade (haha, don’t worry, I didn’t/don’t hate my parents/home).
I got some award for something at the end of 3rd grade and my dad told me he was really proud of me. He said that if I kept it up I might need to go to a boarding school in 7th grade. That seemed like such a long time from then, but soon enough I was here. I know my dad didn’t really think much of the comment he made, but he will (hopefully) soon realize that it was one the most expensive comments of his life (right under “i do”… lol).

<p>overandover why don’t you look into Junior Boarding schools ? They are supposed to be good and they prepare their students well for prep schools.</p>
<p>I don’t know, feels too last minute. I would like to, but I know my family really can’t afford it right now. Besides, I feel that is a little young for me to be leaving. I can barely convince my parents to leave for high school, no way I can get my parents to go with that idea.</p>
