did all of andover's acceptances come today?

Unless your post office made a big mistake.

Oh, great. -_-*

i second that . ^

Chaos, where did you apply? How much of a math geek are you? stats?

I applied to Andover, Exeter, Hotchkiss (Waitlisted) and Deerfield. Math? I'll be finishing my online BC Calculus class in less than two weeks, if all goes well. I started it two weeks ago. Hopefully I'll have MultV. Calculus and Linear Algebra finished by the end of the summer.

Do you want full "stats", as in what one would post in a chances thread?

What grade are you applying for, SSAT and state would help! GPA is silly because there is such a range of schools.

Applying for grade 10, SSAT is 97, and state is NC. :)

Any opinion, suze?

Apparently she's stunned into silence. :D

Is there any point in "chancing" people now? Most of us will know within 24 hours, so it won't change anything. Will suze saying one way or another really make you any more/less confident about your chances?

chaos is a genius and the fact that he was waitlisted at hotchkiss points to a very sad practice... he's unhooked (i assume) and needs FA (taking a a guess on the unhooked part), so even a kid doing BC calc at 14 who shows outstanding writing skills and intellect is waitlisted/not invited to the school? that's BS! i wouldn't want to go there! that's total BS (not the acronym commonly used on this board)! i have an itch that they're lieing about something. i don't know.

Who is this "genius" you speak of? I would like to meet him. ;)

Anyway, I do not the waitlisting of this "genius" figure reflects upon the school whatsoever. It is the decision of the school and I believe that it should be respected.

soak it up, soak it up.

Pardon? /comment/ :p

it is more competitive each year.my mother said we have the stats to get into ivy leagues but we cant get into prep school. There is something wrong with this picture.

Chaos, what program are you using to take online classes?

Johns Hopkins CTY.

you have to take the sat?do you have to pay?

Yes, it requires the SAT. It does cost money -- I suggest you look here for more information.

I'm thinking of taking Geometry over the summer with Duke TIP-Independent Learning. It only costs $89.
