ARGH sorry about that.

it's the second time !!

Sorry rey. At least you must realize that there were many qualified applicants who didn't even make the waitlist. Small comfort. I hope you get off the list this year.

I think that if you were wait listed once and haven't done anything screwy (like taken out a UPS driver with a shotgun) since you last applied, then you have waited long enough and they should just admit you for cryin' out loud. But that's just me. And one of many reasons I'm not a Dean of Admission anywhere.

Ahhhh, that SUCKS. Now they're gonna keep you waiting for even longer. You've waiting since you sent in your application in 2005 for pete's sake!!!

that sucks.. i STILL haven't gotten mine.

d'yer maker-- you just made me laugh unknowingly .
"for cryin' out loud " is an inside joke amongst my friends and me.
& i wish you were a dean of admissions !
thanks so much for your help and support everyone !

Aw man, that's horrible. :( Two years of waiting! This is insanity. -_-" You should be accepted simply for your determination. How are your public school options?

Be sure to say "This is for you, Andover (and wink at the camera)" when you are receiving your Nobel Prize. :)

Haha nice one Chaos. XD

Chaos, I have to tell you that I admire your class! I know that not getting accepted to Exeter was very disappointing to you, yet you never whined or lost your sense of humor. You will go far in life with personality traits like that!

hah .
i agree with chacha.
i love how you take it in stride .
=]
my public school is fine .
has about like 12-15 APs I think .
new principal this coming school year.
i think the only drawback is the fact that i can't advance too far because APs are only for juniors and seniors. (i could've taken AP Chem next year but they said that because AP chem is only for juniors, and because i haven't taken alg 2 , i couldn't take it . & they don't offer credit or placement for summer programs)
& we have had siemens westinghouse winners & MIT students come from our school . so the school isn't that bad . & extra curriculars are crazy in multitude.
so i would be fine for another 3 years. i just was kinda hoping that i wouldn't have to stay. :P

Write to them immediately.....let them know about last year....do it now!!! Send cc's too.

they knew about last year at the interview itself .
i wrote them about 10 seconds after i found out .
=]
they thanked me and hoped that a spot would open up .
i hope they mean what they say .

Good luck reyidizzle. Two years is long enough. We are pulling for you.

Not sure about Andover , But Exeter tries to pay special attention to prior year waitlisted applicants. Why would Andover waitlist you 2 times unless they really hope they could fit you in? good luck.
