<p>Blackboard was much better before they upgraded it. The layout is largely the same, but the color scheme is hideous. They also took out the banner out the top for no apparent reason.</p>
<p>It looks fine to me. That’s a “hideous” color scheme? I just see a lot blue. Not so exciting I agree, but not that bad. Maybe I am just too old… :)</p>
<p>Well watertester, if you’ve ever had firstclass as your mail system, you’ll see this is a downgrade.</p>

<p>I actually work in Andover’s technology department (summer internship, so I don’t actually do anything beyond office work), and I believe they’re done the updating. I preferred the old version, and this is not as aesthetically pleasing, but it still is functional. I’m not sure why they performed the update or what features they added, though I know it’s still in beta (my brother, class of '13, found a broken link, and it was fixed).</p>
<p>though I’ve never seen blackboard, firstclass ftw. I’ve been using it for two years, it is my life now. lol.</p>
<p>I am doing the writing summernet program. Man the kids are smart. I feel like an idiot.</p>
<p>Everyone was admitted for their own reasons. When it comes to writing, many Andover students were much better than I was. You’ll find something you’re passionate about and good at. It may even come in an unexpected place (I never expected to enjoy languages).</p>
