<p>You won’t have to worry about it right away. All sophomores are required to take a one-term PE course. At some point during that term you’ll have to swim 50 meters (2 lengths of the pool) and participate in some drownproofing activities. Typically, a PE class will be in the pool for a week at the most. If you’re worried about swimming, you have the option of taking Instructional Swimming as your sport.
