Andover vs. Exeter vs. Choate

So I got accepted into all three schools, and I have no idea which one to choose. I am going to revisit dates, but the choice is still going to be a hard one. Anyone have any reasons why one school is better than another??? Thanks so much!!

Well… I suggest looking at posts about the schools from 2007-2009, then compare their lowest and highest points. If I were to choose, I would pick Choate because of its strong sense of community, but then again, I’ve never really had much experience with Exeter or Andover. If you describe yourself, in terms of your personality, maybe I can give you a more detailed answer. But still, I can make no certain attempt to rank these schools as each one is unique. You need to assess schools on the basis of how they fit your requirements. The best school is always the school which fits best.

Look at their course catalogs, see if there is a certain course you want at one school.
Make a three-way Venn diagram and compare. that may help

Go Choate!!

I have a vivacious personality. I am always loud and hyperactive. I have ADHD so I always have a lot of energy! Also I am a really good at giving advice to friends in crisis mode. When it comes to school, I have OCD. I have to study until I know something. I am definitely a perfectionist. School can frustrate me sometimes when I don’t understand something, but I eventually grasp the concept. I would say that I am a well liked person

Whipmyhair me too, I just returned from an Exeter event near my hometown and solidified my desire to go.

Yeah. This is definitely going to be hard choice!

I do not know about Andover or Exeter, but Choate students are all very energetic and spirited. We are constantly supporting our friends and peers in all their activities (sports, plays, clubs, arts, etc) to encourage them further. In regards to getting frustrated with school, your advisor as well as teachers are extremely helpful with ensuring that you grasp a concept. Now, they are not going to hold your hand (this will be the same with all 3 schools) rather help you to find the right ‘path’ to make sure that you don’t go wrong.

You can’t go wrong with any of these schools but obviously they all offer different things so it’s really what you want in a school at this point.
I am biased though…so I say Go Choate :)
