I recently got accepted by Hotchkiss and Andover. I currently go to a prestigious private schools in Canada with IB program. I acknowledge that academics at both schools are rigorous and I am academically sound. I also play two spring sports actively. Please comment anything that would help me make my decision(student life, college matriculation, sports, academics, surroundings).

I can only speak for Andover, so I will touch upon some of the aspects you have mentioned above. Obviously you will find stellar academics at both. Andover can be helpful if you are at a very very advanced level and want to take college-style seminar courses.
College Matriculation: You can find Andover’s stats for the last few years. It is pretty much what you would expect. I will however say that in my experience, the College Counseling department at Andover is absolutely fantastic. My first choice college had a rather unconventional application(US service academy) that required many different parts, and the counselors were instrumental in helping the process go smoothly.
Sports: I would immediately say that it would be virtually impossible to actively play two spring sports. I would hink this owuld be true whether you are at Andover or Hotchkiss. The academic and extracurricular demands outside of sports will make this nearly impossible
Surroundings: Phillips is very close to downtown Andover (5 min walk). It is a nice downtown, and recently some really nice food joints have opened up(UBurger, Caffe Nero). There is also a major road running through the middle of campus, so i always feels lively, and never isolated.
