I was recently wait listed by Andover and Middlesex. I got an average SSAT percentile of 89 percent and I have strong extra curriculars. What is my chance of getting into Andover or Middlesex.
I was waitlisted at Andover too… but I got into Middlesex 
. Honestly, there’s nothing you can do. Around April 10, they will begin to check if they met the enrollment quota for each grade, and if there’s too many open spots, they go to the waitlist. They look at who ended up enrolling at the school, and then they review applications to see how would fit in well with this class, or who would fill a missing space in the class (example: they need a tuba player). Good luck! It’s really all about who ends up enrolling at PA and MX. Sadly, most top schools rarely if ever take anybody off of their waitlists…

Yeah. Go back and read that quote and then reread it. While some students get off thew WL, most do not. If you have other options, focus on those. Love the school that loves you back.
I got off of the waitlist at Middlesex, but it was before revisit days and I wrote a ton of letters to the admissions officers.

What did you write to the admissions? I’m applying for andover and exeter and lawrenceville rn but i don’t think my chances are very high…
