Cleaning up the list.
The person who added that little comment to collidE is not a very nice person. Im being nice by saying the word nice.....I should say something else.

well, we are classmates and she told me she was going to go to Exeter and not stay on the waitlist for andover anymore =X

I guess you could add her to "unsure" since she said that Andover was her top choice, but probably doesn't know you can stay on the waitlist and accept a school's offer...

yes you can hold your place even if you commit to another school, but if you decide to attend the school if you get in off the waitlist you have to give up your 2 grand. Also if you are in ninth grade and andover is by far your first choice/you only applied to one school consider applying again the following year, especially if you are a day student. For the '07 admission cycle andover accepted 10 out of 23 sophomore day student applications. And if you got waitlisted your first try there is a decent chance of getting in on the second try.

Just a really old list of people who got waitlisted to Andover. I think they were trying to keep track of the waitlist because they were hoping to figure out if they’d ever get off the waitlist and be offered a spot. It’s no fun to be on the waitlist . . .
