Not only is this rude if it is true, it is also illegal!! Do a web search about Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and you will see that schools can't even legally post grades along with a name or even a student number is illegal. It is beyond the pale to let students look at the grade book! See, for example, <a href="http://www.registrar.vt.edu/fs/grades/posting.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.registrar.vt.edu/fs/grades/posting.html</a>, or any of the hundreds of other sites you can find with this same info.</p>
<p>If what the poster says is true, he/she needs to have a parent call the principal and have a stop put to this.</p>
