"Angry students whose ACT scores aren't online yet" CREW. Show of hands?

Thanks for the update, vegangirl!
Lovely! Isn't it nice when they tell you to check for scores on a day that their offices aren't even open?

yeah, that was a great call on their part.
i'm officially freaked out on the college front. i NEED these scores for my EA college. eeps.

Man. That's totally insane and unfair to you! ACT really messed up this time!
I think we deserve 36s for all the trouble lol.

i got mine the friday after the first early scores came out. i can't believe there are people who haven't gotten them yet. act blows huh?

So, I STILL don't have my scores. This is beyond ridiculous. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE TAKING SO LONG?

Hmm, ok for those of you who still haven't received your scores my mom called the ACT today only to find out that they apparently only upload scores on Wednesdays and Fridays and that the ACT takes 5-7 weeks to grade (since when?!), so some of the ACTs aren't even graded yet! They also informed my mom that more people than usual took this test (~555,000) which is I guess why this is taking so darn long. Sigh.

"Not graded yet" is how they describe all score delays, whether it's because the multiple choice hasn't been scored (which at this point is NOT the problem), the writing hasn't been scored, your scores haven't been matched to your registration data (because you didn't copy your stuff from your admission ticket correctly), you put the wrong test form code or serial number, or something happened at the test center that they have to investigate before they release your scores. The people on the phones probably don't even know the reason your scores aren't out yet. The only time they'll tell you something other than "not graded yet" is if you owe them money.

Well, if it feels better to know that someone's worse off than you, then maybe my story would make you feel better.

Being a test-taker from Canada, I took the ACT in April, and they promised to have my score mailed in 5-7 weeks. (Remember, no online score-viewing for Canada) I had to decide whether to take it again in June, and the damn score report didn't get to me until ONE DAY BEFORE THE JUNE EXAM. (That's...9 weeks!!) Oh well...

oh wow, lubinli, that's harsh!

I've been irritated for a while now over my lack of scores, but now i'm absolutely freaked out. If they don't come in this week, I won't have them in time for my EA school. and that would suck so much i can't even think about it.

So i lost my admission ticket before i took the test in october and i got my student ID number by calling them 2 weeks ago and still my scores aren't up. All of my friends have been mailed their scores, I'm fed up!

Hmm. Well apparently a bunch of people who took the test at the same school I did haven't gotten their scores yet either (I took it at a different school from the one I go to), so I think maybe our answer sheets got to ACT late or something...
Vegangirl, I REALLY hope your scores get in this week!!! I'll be crossing my fingers for you and everyone else who didn't get their scores yet!

everybody ready for tomorrow? it's wednesday haha

I give up. I just give up.
I've stopped even believing that my ACT score is a real thing I may someday possess.

It's sad, but I've long since memorized my match ID number considering I've uselessly typed it so many times... I'm tired of typing this stupid number already; just give me my scores! ahh.

lol, yeah.
Friday! Let's hope for friday!

try again next wednesday

I finally got mine today. I'm hoping the rest of you had success as well!!!

I didn't get mine. Luckily Yale has agreed to move forward with looking at my application using only my old ACT score, which doesn't have the writing section. They said they still need my new score to make their final decision though. I REALLY hope it comes out next week. That will be three weeks delayed. This is so messed up.

That's good news, vegangirl. I'm so glad you called the school again!
