I noticed in the UCD admitted student stats that the average number of hours they had working with animals was over 3000. So I'm curious when those hours begin counting. Is it only after high school graduation they begin to accumulate? Just thinking that getting all those hours while simultaneously working to get a 3.5 in a rigorous science curriculum may be hard to do unless earlier experiences count as well.

Um, 3500 hours are a LOT. I bet it should start during high school.

ya high school stuff can count
