Hey guys,

I am applying ED to CALS and I am really excited :-)
I have two questions concerning my prospective major-to-be

How competitive is Animal Science at CALS to get into? Do good grades/test scores suffice or does one need a grocery list of crazy specific animal science ECs?

I have a pretty impressive list of ECs. A lot of them are science orientated. I have quite a bit of accomplishments as an equestrian. I am hoping my experience taking care of and working with horses will help my case for my major. My question is, would admissions look down upon the fact that I only have experience with horses rather than the rest of the animal kingdom? I guess someone pretty familiar with the program would have to answer that.

Thank you in advance!!
