Animal Science

which out of
UCSD
UCD
UCI
do you think have the best biology/animal science programs ?

UCSD has the best biology program. UCI and UCD are pretty close, with Davis probably being more well known. None have an “animal science” program at the undergraduate level at least. If you like animals, physiology or ecology/behavior might be similar majors (but I’m no expert).

^ UCD has an animal science major. I’m not sure about the other two.

For Animal Science, go to UC Davis.

Thank you times 3 !! :)

well times 4 sorry :D

Oppppss im sorry one more question … at UCD is the animal science major impacted ? … would it be easier to get in applying undecided and than switching to animal science ? or is just applying for animal science ok

The only “selective” majors in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences are Biotechnology, Viticulture and Enology, Landscape Architecture, and Human Development. As far as I know, those are the only ones that should be more competitive to be admitted to (for that specific college.) So you should be fine to apply as an Animal Science major.
