<p>I'm planning to attend a private art college (SVA or maybe Pratt) in NYC (animation major), what classes should i take in a community college. Should it be the "liberal art program" (I don't quite get this term)?</p>
<p>And is it better to enter as sophomore than as a junior?</p>

<p>Dude check out the college that you wanna transfer to. Just simply look at their requirements, course load, etc.
go google if you dont know what "liberal arts" means</p>
<p>It might be best to get the "gen ed" courses out of the way, but definitely try to take some art classes to continue developing your skills. Try figure drawing and painting. Because it's an art school, it might be better to transfer earlier to complete more credits towards your major.</p>
