To any of you who wasted about $10 and went to see Annapolis (that movie got horrible ratings too), don’t think that that is anything like the way a military Academy would be.

The upperclassmen can’t cuss at you, and they probably wouldn’t rub a Twinkie into your uniform, since thy can’t touch you without permission. Also, any boxing, here or there, includes headgear and shirts, and they use standing 8 counts, not 10 counts. It’s amateur boxing, not professional.

Also, you’d probably get in a lot of trouble for working out in the boxing gym at midnight with a female upperclassmen.

Ridiculously bad movie - not just due to its diversion from reality of life at a military academy but lack of plot, no theme, constant jumping around, not tying up loose ends, etc.

It was amusing, though, being in a theater with over 100 other cadets.

To sum it up - quite possible the worst movie I've ever seen, but possibly the most fun I've had in a theater

No, but there was a group of cadets who came in right before it started with their USAFA athletic shorts hiked way up and their USAFA t-shirts either cut off or tied above their stomachs to show them off. They were also wearing some weird hats, but I couldn't really tell what they were from where I was sitting. They ran around in front for a short time, to the cheers of all the cadets then sat in the very front row.

I just saw the movie a few hours ago. Probably the worst movie I have ever seen (not because it is Annapolis). It ****es me off because it gives people the wrong impression of academy life.
